Scholarships and Financial Aid

Additional Funding Resources

Did you know that there are several financial aid resources to help cover your educational expenses? These include paying for:

  • Instructional and general fees
  • Nonresident fees (if applicable)
  • Room, meals, books/supplies, transportation and personal expenses

Financial aid (e.g., scholarships, grants, loans and student work-study) is money that helps pay for education expenses. Scholarships are usually merit-based, but most financial aid grants are awarded based on demonstration of need.

Need-based aid is generally available to those who have been admitted to a school or college, and also file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
